Priava Sponsors 2017 Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand Conference
Priava is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 2017 Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand Conference.
The Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand (EVANZ) is the prime industry body representing venues in New Zealand. Their annual conference aims to “facilitate collaboration, enhancement of skills and development of best practice” and brings together more than 150 delegates from theatres, dedicated event centres, outdoor stadia and convention centres from all over New Zealand.
The 2017 EVANZ conference is being held at Shed 6 in Wellington. The program has been designed around a central theme – Inspire Excellence – with sessions focusing on business communication techniques, problem solving strategies, venue programming policies, social media tips, event partnerships, regional support and dedicated presentations for industry professionals.
Priava is proud to be the platinum sponsor for the EVANZ conference for 2017 and, in particular, the Supreme Venue Person of the Year Award and the Rising Star of the Year Award which will be presented at the awards dinner as part of the conference program. As an extension of the conference, these awards acknowledge the achievements of individuals who make outstanding contributions to the venue industry in New Zealand.
Priava’s CEO, James Pegum, commented “We are looking forward to being a part of EVANZ once again this year and, in particular, are proud to sponsor the Supreme Venue Person and Rising Star awards for the third year running. We know from our experience working with our clients, that the events and venue management industry in New Zealand is made up of extraordinary, talented and passionate people and we are excited to be part of an initiative that celebrates these individuals.”
Priava’s Business Development Manager, Venues & Events, Lewis Richardson will be representing Priava at the event. Lewis commented, “I am excited to represent Priava at the conference in Wellington. It will be an opportunity to reconnect with my industry colleagues and share all of the updates that we have made to Priava over the past 12 months with them. It has been an extremely busy year for Priava and we’ve made lots of changes to the system, including the most recent introduction of Online Bookings, so I am looking forward to sharing how these changes can help venues to manage their events and venue bookings more effectively.”
