Venue Relationships

Venue Relationships has been purpose-built in response to the requests from our customers to be able to create parent/child relationships between venues. This advanced feature allows administrators to configure relevant blocks, warning and suggested or enforced additions to complement the logistics of using the spaces separately or as a whole.

Venue Relationships is suited to venues that have composite spaces or multiple rooms/facilities which can be booked simultaneously by different parties or grouped under a single booking. Using this feature, you will now be able to:

Prevent the risk of conflicting bookings by making Parent Venues “bookable” so that all relevant Child Venues will be reserved on the Chart automatically.

Blocks, Warnings & Enforced/Suggested Additions

Blocks Warnings & Additions

Ensure multi-venue bookings complement operational practicalities by configuring blocks, warnings & enforced/suggested additions. These restrictions and prompts will appear for all venue bookings associated to both opportunities & events and can also be enabled for Online Booking sites.

Associate Catalogue Items to Parent or Child Venues

By allowing you to link catalogue items (e.g. food, beverages, inventory, etc.) to the relevant venue, you will ensure the items are delivered to the right place.

Despite all relevant venues being reflected as bookings on the Chart, If you choose to book a Parent Venue, only one venue will appear on reports and invoices to prevent confusion for your customers.

Important Note for Priava customers:

Venue Relationships is a free inclusion that you can start using straight away. It is important to note, however, any changes that you make to Venue Relationships will impact new bookings only – existing bookings will need to be manually updated if required.
